The book’s note
17,000 MW is a private-power plan, not IT; the first tenant is 222 MW of facility load, due H2 2027. First power in 2026 (the August 2026 compilation; the August 2026 compilation’s table of promised dates, row 1, has 86 MW of grid service in H2 2026). An IT figure would need Fermi’s own critical-load statement. Fermi’s 10-Q of 14 August 2026 gives the lease’s target delivery dates, the end of 2027 to 1 February 2028, and its closing condition, project financing by 30 September 2026. After the close: the fact sheet Fermi furnished to the SEC on 14 October 2026 (Exhibit 99.1 to its Form 8-K) gives 156 MW critical IT capacity of 222 MW total power for the first tenant’s phase alone, delivery from late 2027; the announced cell keeps its state at the close. Fermi’s own filings had moved the promise before the close: the IPO prospectus of 1 October 2025 said the company intended to “deploy at least 1.1 GW of power by the end of 2026” with “a target date to commence operations of March 2026”; the 10-K of 30 March 2026 said “86 MW expected to be energized in the second half of 2026” and Phase 1 “substantially completed upon initial tenant energization and commissioning readiness” expected “during the first half of 2027”.
