The AI Compute Race Glossary Calibration baseline

Calibration baseline

What does “Calibration baseline” mean?

Calibration baseline

The reading of the Scorecard printed in this book, read in October 2026, against which the reading of 31 August 2027 is measured. It is a baseline rather than a test because its rows were written after the events they score, to reproduce a first count made on 29 August 2026 whose rows were never published; the first test comes on 31 August 2027. The Scorecard.
