# Chapter 3, the outer loop

Due 31 August 2028

**The test.** The five conditions of the 2027 row (a broad mandate, the system choosing the question and the test of success, reproduction by an unaffiliated laboratory, adoption into the next production model, an outside audit) are set against 31 August 2028, five months after the March 2028 date for the true automated AI researcher. Met by then, they withdraw the claim. The first two met with any of the other three unmet leave it unverified, neither withdrawn nor confirmed. A published account by OpenAI of the researcher it dated to March 2028, or by any laboratory of its most autonomous research system, that shows a person still choosing the question or the test of success confirms it. A record that shows none of these three outcomes is unscored.

open Open. The researcher OpenAI dated to March 2028 has not arrived.
