# Chapter 3, the outer loop

Due 31 August 2027

**The test.** Withdrawn if the public record shows a laboratory giving a system a broad mandate rather than a problem, the system choosing the question and the test of success, the result reproduced by an unaffiliated laboratory and adopted into the next production model, and a third party auditing the prompts and the interventions. All five conditions are needed to withdraw it. A broad mandate with the system choosing the question and the test of success weakens it.

open Open. The inner loop of research is automated and the outer loop is human.
