# Chapter 12, claim 5, the debt secured on the chips

Due 31 December 2027

**The test.** If two or more readings can be scored and all of those fall on the sound side, the claim is withdrawn for the debt secured on the chips. With fewer than two scorable, the channel is read on the one that can be scored, as the fallback, and it is unscored, not held, only when none can.

a mixed or partial reading Read on rent alone, which sits on the sound side: only the rent reading has a series, so the channel can be met only through the fallback, and so far it is not met.
