## The book’s note

1,000 MW reported, unverified; reported ‘partially operating’ with no megawatts, so the live load is unquantified. A location and an operator’s figure would settle it. After the close: the Financial Times reported on 8 October 2026, on people briefed, that Z.ai is building facilities in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, without saying this campus is one of them; Bloomberg’s report of 20 July 2026 gives the hub no place; the location cell keeps its state at the close.
